Four reasons London businesses, FM companies, and multi-site operators choose us over a general contractor.
Most breakdowns are attended within two to four hours of your call. We have engineers based across Central and Greater London, so you are never far from a fast response. 24/7 emergency cover available.
⚡ 2 to 4 hr average responseEvery engineer is F-Gas certified and Refcom registered. We train exclusively on refrigeration systems, which means faster diagnosis and first-time fix rates well above the industry average. Full RAMS documentation available on request.
✓ Refcom registered · PLI + ELIDedicated account management, consolidated billing, and SLA-backed response times for FM companies and multi-site operators. We support everything from single London sites to entire M25 portfolios.
→ Consolidated billing across all sitesWe focus exclusively on commercial refrigeration. No AC, no heating, no plumbing. That means deeper expertise, faster diagnosis, and engineers who have seen your exact fault dozens of times before.
◎ Pure refrigeration specialistsNot all engineers are qualified to work on commercial refrigeration.
Refrigerant handling is regulated under UK F-Gas legislation. Any engineer working on systems containing fluorinated gases must hold a valid individual F-Gas certificate. Using an uncertified engineer is not only unsafe, it can invalidate your insurance and expose your business to regulatory risk. Every Kept Cold engineer is individually certified and registered.
General maintenance engineers or cross-trade technicians often misdiagnose refrigeration faults. A misdiagnosis means wrong parts ordered, repeat call-outs, extended downtime, and a larger bill. Refrigeration systems have specific failure patterns that only come from working on them every day. Our engineers diagnose correctly the first time because this is all they do.
A failed refrigeration unit is not just an inconvenience. It is a food safety event. If your equipment is not holding temperature, you are at risk of stock loss, failed EHO inspections, and potential closure notices. Fast, accurate repairs from a qualified specialist protect your business, your stock, and your compliance record. Every hour of downtime in a food business carries a real financial and reputational cost.
We are not a general maintenance company that handles refrigeration on the side. Every job we attend, every part we stock, and every hour of training our engineers complete is focused on one discipline. This single focus means faster diagnosis, better outcomes, and engineers who have seen your specific fault pattern dozens of times before. No guesswork. No cross-trade engineers sent to your site.
